Do you want to learn fly fishing? This course gives you good training in everything from casting techniques, the right choice of equipment, tying flies and how to choose the right fishing spot. For beginners, the fly fishing course will pay a lot of dividends, and this is the best way to learn fly fishing. Even experienced fly fishermen can benefit from brushing up on their techniques with a course.

This course covers fly fishing from a to z, but mostly focuses on different techniques. We will go into how to tie flies and specific casting techniques. Basically, this is a basic course so that you learn how to throw and what equipment you need.
The beautiful rivers in Vest Vidda hide both large and fine fish, but also incredible places for fly fishing. Here there are powerful rapids and sheltered pools - everything a fly fisherman can dream of.

Our fishing guide will take you into the world of fly fishing. He will show you the best places and you will get a good introduction to where the big fish are. We will also have a bit about entomology so that you get an understanding of which fly should be used.

Friday:
Arrival before dinner at 19.00
Social, information, the world of the fly fisherman, equipment, about fishing on Hardangervidda.

Saturday:
At 08.00-09.00 Breakfast, lubrication of the packed lunch
At 09.00 boat across the Halnefjord to Skaupa - we fish in Skaupa, Sevra and Sleipa.
19.00 Dinner - social, fly fishing talk, fly tying in the stone arch

Sunday:
08.00-09.00 Breakfast, lubrication of packed lunch
09.00 Boat shuttle to the fishing grounds. We continue with fishing and casting technique, fishing with an instructor.
Back to Halne at around 15.00
